Tommy Lee’s 21-year-old son Brandon Lee finally opened up about the alleged physical altercation with his star father.
Bradon said on Wednesday that he feels “forced to speak out” about the story which is generating s much buzz.
Brandon broke his silence by providing a statement to USA TODAY by his rep. Teal Cannaday. The statement reads, “I’m devastated at the events of the last several days that have been a result of my father’s alcoholism. I’ve worked tirelessly organizing an intervention and it’s incredibly upsetting that it never came to fruition.”
The statement continued, “I wanted my dad’s hopeful sobriety and recovery to be a private family matter but, as a result of his accusations on social media, I feel forced to speak out. I have and will continue to cooperate with law enforcement as needed. I love my father and just want to see him sober, happy and healthy,” the statement was first issued to People.
The 55-year-old Tommy Lee’s representatives didn’t respond on the matter. But Tommy went on to mock his son’s claim of an intervention, or you can need for the one, on his Twitter.
Tommy tweeted. “LMAAAO!!!! I’m happier than I’ve been in my entire life. I have a few drinks here & there because I’m (expletive) retired and enjoying my life.” He wrote, “I worked 30+ (expletive) years I deserve it. You didn’t arrange any intervention, you barely spoke to me while u were here.”
He continued with another tweet in which he wrote, “See ya later social media! Can’t read anymore liesss.”
Tommy took to Twitter on Tuesday and claimed that his son attacked him while he was in his bedroom with his 31-year-old fiancée Brittany Furlan, he refuted allegations made on TMZ that his son Brandon had acted in self-defense when the alleged incident took place.
Tommy Lee tweeted, “My (fiancée) and I were in bed when my son busted into the room and assaulted me.” He added, “I asked him to leave the house and he knocked me unconscious. He ran away from the police. THAT’S the truth.”
