Selena Gomez doesn’t need anybody to remark her appearance at the biggest night in fashion — 2018 Met Gala!

Selena Gomez Remarks Solo Appearance In A Sheer Gown At 2018 Met Gala

After stepping out on the red carpet alongside with her then-boyfriend The Weeknd, last year, the 25-year-old “Wolves” singer is back at the Met Gala this year. Just like last year, the pop star wore a custom Coach design. For those who aren’t aware, Selena is a face of the brand, she even designing the very first Coach x Selena Gomez collection with Creative Director Stuart Vevers, the collection will debut this fall.

According to the brand, the opera length slip gown, Selena was dressed up in, was made from vintage cream silk gauze. The gown comes with “hand-sewn lace incrustations,” “hand-pleated frills with metal studs” and “crystal embellishments reminiscent of motifs found in the Coach Fall 2018 runway collection.” The singer completed her look with a cream bag and gunmetal heels by the brand. In order to make her overall look even more personal, her favorite quote from scripture, “A woman who fears the lord is a woman who shall be praised” is embossed in her handwriting on a ribbon sewn into her dress and bag.

Selena’s stylist, Kate Young, posted a beautiful sneak peek at the pop star’s “ethereal, classic and gorgeous” look on her Instagram in the evening.

Kate told PeopleStyle, “She’s wearing lots of diamonds because I thought they were the best physical manifestation of the theme — eternal, heavenly.” She added, “I love the lace and embroidery, but my most favorite are the Tiffany & Co. Schlumberger rings!”

Some Jelena fans were wondering if there was a possibility that Selena would be stepped out on the red carpet with her with off-again, on-again beau Justin Bieber, with whom the songstress reconnected following her split from The Weeknd.
