Marvel movies have been giving surprises by introducing a new superhero in it every movie. One of the biggest benefits of Marvel studio, it can interconnect a character debut in one film before coming in another film. Explaining clearly, we can take an example of the movie Captain America: Civil War. In that movie, Marvel introduced Spider-Man just before the release of Spider-Man: Homecoming. Following its trends, Black Panther director Ryan Coogler recently informed that he was planning to incorporate the character Patriot, named Elijah Bradley.
Coogler stated “Crazy enough, for comic book fans, we toyed with the character Patriot for a little bit. Early on we were interested in getting our hands on him, Joe and I, but that ended up going away so we could focus on Wakanda a little more.” Patriot, also known as Eli Bradley and it is a character which was introduced in Young Avengers in 2005. He survived the Super Soldier test that Steve Rogers went through and that gave him the similar superhuman-like strength and ability that Captain America has.
Coogler may have cancelled the idea of incorporating Patriot in the movie, but he revealed that all the other major character in Black Panther were included during the early time of making the film.
Coogler said “The ones that you see were kind of always there. M’Baku, Killmonger, T’Challa, Nakia, Okoye, Shuri, Ramonda, Klaue, Everett Ross… they were always in every draft. So, the team first made sure that all the characters are cycling well thorough out the movie.
The movie has been getting high popularity ahead of its premiere and had more action and talent. It will hit theatres worldwide in two weeks as releasing on 16th February 2018.
