In a surprising turn of events, Ricky Martin and his partner, artist Jwan Yosef have tied the knot. At the premiere of “The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story” in Los Angeles on Tuesday, the performer said exclusively to E! News that he and Jwan Yosef are married. However, the two are yet to have a proper wedding reception, but the 46-year-old singer says that he and Yosef have planned everything else to prepare for the special occasion.
“We exchanged vows, and we’ve to swear [sic] everything, and we’ve signed all the papers that we needed to sign, prenups and everything. I’m a husband, but we’re doing a heavy party in a couple of months, I’ll let you know.”
Martin further added that Married life “feels amazing.” He said, “I can’t introduce him as my fiancé. He’s my husband. He’s my man.”
The couple is promising for a big bash for their close ones. Martin says that the guests can expect a three-day party, although the two still don’t know where exactly the celebration will be carried out.
Notably, Martin and Yosef were introduced to each other via Instagram. In the year 2016, Martin confirmed his relationship with Yosef when they made a red carpet debut at the amfAR Inspiration Gala in Brazil, and soon later in November the two got engaged. Well, it is surprising now to see that the two got married in a low key scale as Martin had said last year that he and Yosef wanted their wedding to be a ‘big’ affair that will continue for three days. The famous singer is also a father of twins Matteo and Valentino who are nine years old. In a recent interview, Martin said that his kids asked him about having two daddies. He answered by telling them that they are a part of a modern family.
