The old man from the TV serial Pawn Stars passed away at 77 on Monday, June 25. The news was confirmed by the Harrison family who was also the co-owner and founder of Rick Harrison’s Gold & Silver Pawn Shop.
Rick Harrison, aged 53 was reported saying that Richard Benjamin Harrison or otherwise known as the Old Man from the show Pawn stars, died this morning surrounded by those who loved him. He is going to be badly missed by his family members and the entire team from the shop, and also by his fans from across the world who watched him.
He is glad that he got to share his ideal father with so many others and they got to see what a great family man he was. He has learnt a lot from his father and whatever he is today, is because of him. Richard lived a happy and blissful life spreading love and hope in his surrounding and through the epic television show that displayed on the history channel the Pawn Stars, he has managed to touch the lives of people all across the globe teaching them the importance of loving the family at the utmost, doing hard work, and with his sense of humour.
The Pawnshop also shared a statement on the Facebook page that stated that it is with a grief note that we report the death of Richard Benjamin Harrison also referred to as the old man from the TV show Paws stars, this morning on June 25! Although he will be no more sighted on the show, the show must go on. His sons will be taking over from now in the Pawn Stars show. Rick, his son, stated that Richard was his ideal figure in his life and he is grateful enough to get a very modern and happy old man like his father.
