Rapper XXXTentacion (born Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy), who rose to fame with two of his bestselling albums, was shot to death on Monday afternoon. He was 20 years old. PEOPLE confirms that an armed suspect shot him while the rapper was leaving from a motorcycle dealership in the south of Florida.
The investigators believe that XXXTentacion was killed as a ‘possible robbery’, the outlet confirms further. As per the information from the Broward County Sherrif’s Office, the shooting was reported at 3:57 pm at a Deerfield Beach motorsports shop.

Moreover, an onlooker of the crime scene also uploaded a video of a man, who looks similar to XXXTentacion, sitting in the front seat of a car in a motionless state as someone is checking his pulse.
The police are probing into the matter currently.

XXXTentacion was already popular for uploading songs to the site SoundCloud. He later released his debut album ‘17’ which reached number 2 spot in the Billboard 200 album in September 2017 while his latest album ‘?’, Released in March, peaked at number 1 position in the same chart. The young rapper had many fans and followers on his social media handles.
