Reality show star Lisa Vanderpump has remained quiet on social media uncharacteristically since April, and there it now appears that there may be a strong reason for it. As per reports, Lisa Vanderpump’s brother Mark Vanderpump died unexpectedly at the age of 59.
According to sources, on April 30, the Mark was found dead at his Gloucestershire home in England, and it is suspected that the cause of his death is a drug overdose. However, the fact that whether he died due to suspected overdose internationally or unintentionally is not known yet.
Sources further said that Lisa has not been spotted to appear in public since past few days and has not posted anything on her social media handles since April 30, which is the day her brother’s body was discovered.
Lisa Vanderpump said in a statement, “This has come as a shock to us all. My brother and I had connected the day before this tragedy, and I was completely unprepared for this.
“He was my only sibling, and I am shocked and saddened by his passing. I am trying to be supportive of his two young sons that he has left behind, and help them get through this tragedy,” continued the statement.
Mark, Lisa’s only sibling, reportedly worked as a DJ in the UK for years.
After maintaining successful business partnerships with her husband, Ken Todd for years, Lisa achieved prominence internationally in the year 2010 with the hit show “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” The show was later called “Vanderpump Rules,” lovingly called as “Pump Rules” which revolves around the personal lives of employees working at Lisa and her husband owned West Hollywood restaurants. The show often has few episodes featuring Lisa’s Beverly Hills home and shows her working on developing new businesses in the region. On the show, she has not been seen mentioning her brother Mark. On the other hand, social media showcased a different scenario where the two often took photos together and uploaded and displayed their sibling bond.
