Lindsay Shookus and Ben Affleck were seen enjoying their time on a double date with the producer’s parents, Christine and Robert on Saturday night. The pair chose to go on their recent family outing at the SouthAsian restaurant Cassia located in Santa Monica, California.
The ‘Justice League’ actor was spotted in casual attire for the outing, wearing a black and red-colour leather jacket over a dark colour T-shirt and denim jeans along which he paired with converse sneakers. On the other hand, the ‘Saturday Night Live’ producer was spotted in an ensemble consisting of a light pink colour sweater which she paired along with ripped-at-the-knees jeans and white colour heels.
Meanwhile, Lindsay’s parents were spotted dressed in a way similar to how everyone’s parents dress up when they go for dinner with their adult daughter’s boyfriend. Her father, Robert chose to wear a dark colour blazer over a simple shirt along with jeans while her mother Christine wore shades of tan layers along with some trendy embellishments.
As per an onlooker, the group had a great time at the two-hour long dinner while they sat on the patio at Cassia.
The pleasant family outing comes in a year after Lindsay and Ben announced their relationship officially to the public.
Coming to Ben’s connection with Lindsay’s family, the onlooker said, “You could tell Ben gets along great with her parents. They were all chatting and laughing. They shared a family style dinner with several of the restaurant favourites, including chickpea curry and steak frites. Ben picked up the check at the end of the night.”
Notably, Ben, 45 started dating Lindsay, 38, in July last year, three months after filing for divorce from ex-wife, Jennifer Garner with whom he shares three children. On the other hand, Lindsay shares a daughter from her previous marriage to Kevin Miller.
Well, it indeed looks great to see both of them in love, and as per source, the pair do not plan on rushing anything but for now, are enjoying each other’s company and are in a ‘committed relationship.’
