Lauren London, Ari Lennox And Other Celebrities Attend Puma’s Comeback at NYFW with Winnie Harlow And Usain Bolt

On Tuesday, September 13, Puma returned to New York Fashion Week after a five-year hiatus.

The new Puma show, named “Futrograde,” had top models like Winnie Harlow strutting the runway alongside legendary athletes such as Usain Bolt.

While Puma’s previous show focused on Rihanna, their main collaborator at the time, this time they showcased a wider range of talent as they near their 75-year anniversary next year.

As reported by Footwear News, the show took place downtown at Cipriani and featured a traditional runway setup with experiential elements. The show included theatrical dancers presenting the new 3-D Nitro NFRNO and Nitro Fastroid sneakers. Puma also introduced “Black Station,” its first venture into the metaverse, showcasing NFTs featuring limited-edition physical sneakers.

During the show, Puma highlighted collaborations with various partners, including Harlem’s Dapper Dan, Spain’s genderless label Palomo, popular football club AC Milan, and up-and-coming Parisian brand Koché, each showcasing different facets of the brand.

The star-studded event wasn’t just limited to the runway; a host of celebrities attended as guests, including Lauren London and her son Kameron Carter, Ari Lennox, Deborah Cox, Jodie Woods, Alabama Barker, and more.
