A superhero film based on the DC Comics character of Wonder Woman got a new villain for its sequel for which fans are eagerly waiting.
And trust me or not, the new villain is really quite funny! Here we are not talking about speculations or rumors as the director Patty Jenkins herself confirmed the news on Friday morning. She announced that Kristen Wiig will play the villain Cheetah in the second installment of blockbuster Wonder Woman franchise.
She took to Twitter and wrote, “So excited to confirm the most thrilling news.” She went on to write, “Yes! It’s true! So incredibly lucky to welcome the sensationally talented Kristen Wiig to our Wonder Woman family. Can’t wait to finally work with one of my favorites. And SO excited by what we have planned. #Cheetah!!!”

The character s feline-esque along with speed and strength which makes her a worthy adversary against everyone’s favorite (including me), Wonder Woman.
The Saturday Night Live star was making headlines for the role as the news broke last week.
