She took to Twitter and wrote, “So excited to confirm the most thrilling news.” She went on to write, “Yes! It’s true! So incredibly lucky to welcome the sensationally talented Kristen Wiig to our Wonder Woman family. Can’t wait to finally work with one of my favorites. And SO excited by what we have planned. #Cheetah!!!”

More about DC Comics character ‘Cheetah’: The fictional character is created by William Moulton Marston, which commonly appears in DC Comics publications and related media as a prominent adversary of the female superhero Wonder Woman. The character s feline-esque along with speed and strength which makes her a worthy adversary against everyone’s favorite (including me), Wonder Woman.

The Saturday Night Live star was making headlines for the role as the news broke last week.

Gal Gadot starrer record-breaking superhero flick Wonder Woman hit the theaters this past summer. The film received a good word of mouth from both the critics and the audience, the film also got positive reviews along with highly impressive ratings. The commercial and critical hits of the DC Extended Universe film franchise grossed $821.8 million from the worldwide box office.

As the previous Wonder Woman film, released this past summer, set a mark at the box office, there are sky-high expectations associated with the second installment of the franchise, let see what new Wonder Woman will bring for us.
