Jesse Williams is no more single!
Yes, you’ve heard it right as PEOPLE has confirmed that the Grey’s Anatomy star is in a relationship with SportsNet New York anchor Taylor Rooks. A source confirmed PEOPLE that Jesse, 36, and Taylor, 26, have started dating. However, Taylor did not respond back to PEOPLE immediately.
The two were spotted together last weekend in Atlantic City when they appeared at Kevin Hart’s comedy show. Along is making a name for herself through her anchoring skills on SportsNet, Taylor has also become famous for her YouTube show and her podcast TimeOut with Taylor Rooks where she has interviewed famous celebs like Dwyane Wade and Meek Mill.
The news about the two dating comes in after Jesse announced his split from ex-wife Aryn Drake-Lee over a year ago. After Jesse filed for divorce in April 2017, his name was linked to actress Minka Kelly. However, the two parted ways earlier this year. Notably, Williams, as well as Drake-Lee, were having a divorce battle, but the two finally came to a custody agreement for their two children. As per the agreement, Jesse has been awarded joint physical custody of his daughter Sadie Williams, 3, and son, Maceo Williams, 2.
Jesse had also spoken about cheating rumours that were surrounding his divorce in July this year in a short film ‘Footnotes for 4:44’ by JAY-Z where he said, “I was in a relationship 13 years, 13 real years, not five years, not seven years — 13 years. All of a sudden motherf—ers are writing think-pieces that I somehow threw a 13-year relationship.”
Coming back to Jesse’s relationship with Taylor, a source said Page Six that the two plan on keeping their relationship under wraps. Jesse has been facing a hard time due to his divorce, but he has finally found peace with Taylor, the source said.
