American celebrity couple Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have declared a split on Thursday after two and a half years of their marriage.
As revealed by the couple, the decision was mutual and lovingly made in the latter part of the year 2017. The longtime couple stated that though it should normally be done privately, given that the gossip industry cannot resist an opportunity to speculate and invent, they wanted to convey the truth directly to the public. The couple also said that both of them are determined to maintain the deep respect and love that they have for one another and that they call themselves two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple but look forward to continuing and cherish their friendship.
Actress Jennifer Aniston and actor Justin Theroux met each other in 2007 through a mutual friend Ben Stiller. The stars initially got to spend time in the sets of the romantic comedy Wanderlust and rumors about their relationship started being heard in 2011. Three years after the announcement of their engagement in 2012, the pair tied the knot at a secret ceremony in 2015. In 14th February 2016, the couple went up to Paris to celebrate the Valentine’s Day. Aniston’s 49th birthday on 12th February 2018 was a no big show and she was seen celebrating it with some of her girlfriends and Theroux remained absent throughout. On 15th February the couple officially announced their split.
Justin Theroux was in a long-term relationship with stylist Heidi Bivens for 14 years until 2011. Jennifer Aniston was in a relationship with actor Daniel McDonald from 1990 to 1994.
