After the incident, Halsey twitted that “Lmaaaaaao I just had an asthma attack onstage at @BottlerockNapa and ended up with the medics after my set!!!! This is what I get for walking the mile in high school gym class.”

She was there to perform in the annual Napa Valley music festival. Stating about the reason behind such incident, she said, performing under the sun, a set with minimal production measures, and playing the best hits at half of its speed had made her relentlessly between singing songs.

At one point of the event, she bawled out “You must be tired.” Later she stated it was a fun festival in Napa as it combined Heat and Asthma. By joking on this, she further added, this is the outcome for travelling the mile in high school gym class. She tweeted, It was such a fun set out here in Napa! Heat + Asthma and all!

Apart from that, Halsey also clapped back at a journalist, who stated that Halsey was lip synchronizing. On the other side, Halsey denied the claim and reminded about her platinum albums like Badlands, which was released in 2015 and the Hopeless Fountain Kingdom, released in 2017 and Grammy nominations.

She mentioned the writer as “a poorly disguised troll with a verified check.” Including the journalist, many people who were there in the event have expressed their disappointment through twitter. Halsey’s boyfriend, G-Eazy was not able to make his guest appearance on “Him & I,” and also in festival’s first night headliners, the Chainsmokers, on “Closer.” However, it clear that like normal humans, pop stars can sometimes go through bad days.
