As per the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, the police officials responded to a 911 call in connection to a residential disturbance at Locklear’s home, and when they arrived at the spot, they found the actress ‘heavily intoxicated’ and arguing with other people present at the resident.

As per the information from Sheriff’s Office, Locklear, 59, kicked one of the on-duty deputies and emergency personnel as well who was trying to evaluate her medical condition. The assault took place when the officials were trying to separate Locklear from her family members. Luckily, no one got injured, but her action caused her to get arrested by two counts of misdemeanour battery in a police officer and emergency personnel.

Currently, the actress is in the process getting bail which was set at $20,000. Locklear is expected to appear in the court on Tuesday.

Once a popular actress, Locklear has faced a rough time in the recent years. She was recently released from a hospital where she was undergoing a psychiatric evaluation as the actress threatened to kill herself and tried choking her mother and hitting her father. Hence, her mother dialled 911.

In February, the police officials had responded to another violence call at Locklear’s home when the actress had been violent and was hitting her boyfriend, Chris Heisser. Although the domestic violence charges against her were dropped, she still faced misdemeanour counts of battery on an officer. Her lawyer entered the plea of not guilty. Locklear was even banned from possessing any firearm after the incident, but it looks like the actress still owns one registered on her name. Following the incident, Locklear had enrolled herself into rehab.
