Famous Cranberries singer Dolores O’Riordan dies at 46

The world has lost a great artist.  Dolores O’Riordan, the lead singer of the Cranberries, has died at the age of 46 in London. Giving a detailed statement, the brand has confirmed the death of the great artist. As per the statement was given by the band, she was in London for a short recording season, and there she died suddenly.

Stating on this, the Cranberries’ Noel and Mike Hogan and Fergal Lawler said, “We are devastated by the passing of our friend Dolores. She was an extraordinary talent, and we feel very privileged to have been part of her life from 1989 when we started the Cranberries.” The reason behind her death is still unknown.

Dolores O’Riordan, from Limerick, had brought many international successes to the band in the 90s with Linger and Zombie.

The bandmates have paid tribute to the singer via social media. The Cranberries via Twitter stated that “She was an extraordinary talent and we feel very privileged to have been part of her life from 1989.”

In 1993, the Cranberries had managed to corner international fame whit the album Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can’t we? More than 40 million records sold across the world.

In 2017, the band announced the date for their upcoming events in Europe, the U.K. and the U.S. But due to some health issues of O’Riordan, in May the band cancelled the tour. That time she was suffering from the back problem.

James Corden, Late Late Show host, tweeted “I once met Delores O’Riordan when I was 15. She was kind and lovely, I got her autograph on my train ticket, and it made my day. She had the most amazing voice and presence. So sorry to hear that she’s passed away today.”

In the year 2014, she was detained over an alleged air rage incident. The police then interrogated her, and later the police discharged her without any charges. But, two years later to that incident, she was asked to deposit 6, 00 euros to a charity for misbehaving a police officer after the incident.

However, the world will never forget such great artists and her music will still amuse the people.
