Ezra Miller has made its place in our hearts as one of our favorite young actors for nearly a decade. The 26-year-old actor is making headlines with his recent confession that is creating a buzz all over the internet, newspaper and news channels. We have seen the actor in indie dramas like We Need to Talk About Kevin and in superhero movies as well like Justice League. Later on, the star appeared in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. Miller spoke out the sexual harassment he faced, in the recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter. The artist opened up about an incident that took place when he was underage. Miller said of his experience, “They gave me wine and I was underaged.” The actor said, “They were like, ‘Hey, want to be in our movie about gay revolution?’ And I was like, ‘No, you guys are monsters.'”
However, the actor didn’t mention anyone’s name in the interview, but he appreciates the changing attitude towards harassment and assault in Hollywood.
“It’s a great fuckin’ age of being like, ‘You know what? That shit’s unacceptable,’ And it’s amazing for a lot of us to watch,” the actor went on to say. “Cause, like, we all knew it was unacceptable when we fucking survived it. That’s what Hollywood is. I thought we all knew we were sex workers.”
Last year at the same time, the female-led #MeToo movement was all over the internet, newspaper, news channels, etc. The movement was spread online on a huge scale after big names of Hollywood industry came forward with their #MeToo stories.
Miller, who isn’t really a fan of #MeToo movement with zero social media presence decided to stay away from the limelight. The actor added, “If you watch the world, the cults of celebrity and the fanatics of celebrities, that’s what governs the world now.”
