Channing Tatum Was Spending More Time With Family Before Split

As we have previously reported that Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan have parted their ways, Tatum was making family time a priority before separation from now ex-wife, a source told People.

Channing Tatum Was Spending More Time With Family Before Split

Logan Lucky actor took some time from his busy career to spend more time Dewan and the former couple’s 4-year-old daughter named Everly.

The source said, “He was actually turning down jobs to spend more time with family.” The source added that the actor hasn’t been on location for the movie since making Logan Lucky back in October 2016.

In the recent years, the busy actor has seeming scaled back with only four movies which hit the theatres in 2016 to 2017. This is considered as a stark contrast to his packed schedule before, in which Tatum was starring in 4-5 films a year from 2011 to 2015.

Tatum only did voiceover work for Smallfoot in the year 2017, which took place in Los Angeles. The animated comedy film from Warner Animation Group is the only one movie that actor appeared in that will be released this year. Tatum and  Dewan have been in Los Angeles recently while the actress was working on World of Dance.

A source previously told the publication that their split hadn’t gotten in the way of the couple’s love for each other.

“They honestly do still love each other and that’s not just for show,” the source told People. “That love turned more into a friendship rather than the passion they felt when they first met and fell in love.”

The source went on to say that there was not a huge fight or occasion that led to Tatum and Dewan’s decision to split, rather the two drifted apart over time.

The source added, “That almost made it harder for them to decide to separate because there weren’t any huge issues, and there’s not one person to point a finger at as the one who screwed up.”
