Yes, you heard it! Cardi B is a married woman. Based on the recent speculation making rounds on Twitter which say that she married her long-time beau and father of her future baby secretly last year, the ‘Invasion of Privacy’ rapper has finally confirmed that the reports are true.
Cardi B and Migos’ Offset tied the knot nine months ago, and no one knew about it, and this is exactly how Cardi B wanted it to be.
Cardi B tweeted on Monday afternoon, “This why I name my album Invasion of Privacy cause people will do the most to be [nosy] about your life. Well, f— it.”
“There are so many moments that I share with the world, and then there are moments that I want to keep for myself! Getting married was one of those moments!” she further wrote.
“Our relationship was so new breaking up and making up, and we had a lot of growing up to do, but we were so in love we didn’t want to lose each other, was one morning in September we woke up and decided to get married.”
The two stars woke up one morning and decided to get married with a frills-free ceremony. Cardi B said that her cousin got them married. She said ‘I do’ without wearing a wedding dress, makeup and no ring, the rapper described.
As her fans may have recalled, the pair got publicly engaged when Offset proposed to her with a pear-shaped diamond ring during Power 99‘s Powerhouse held in Philadelphia.
Well now that she has confirmed about their wedding, Cardi B had told PEOPLE in January that she and Offset will throw an extravagant wedding celebration bash. Well with the wedding celebration plan still unclear, the pair promise to host a baby shower for their first baby together.
