Ashley Iaconetti has shed a few tears in the television series Bachelor in Paradise, but now the fans can expect to see the actress shed a little more of happy tears in the show’s upcoming season as Jared Haibon has popped the question on Sunday while the two were shooting for the upcoming season five in Mexico.
Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon are officially engaged. Ashley cried ‘of course’ when Jared proposed to her; a source told E! News.
The source said, “She’s just so happy. She is excited to be engaged but is more excited that she’s found her person. Jared feels the same!”
The insider further said that Jared proposed to Ashley with a pretty diamond ring designed by Neil Lane after which the happy and excited Ashley called up her family as well as close friends to share the good news.
The fans have already seen the romance the pair has in the second and third season of Bachelor in Paradise. While Ashley knew that Jared is the one for her from the start, he needed a little more time to discover his actual feelings for her. After the two went on a date during the show’s first season, Jared had dumped Ashley. However, the two continued to stay friends and had a few flings later.
In the YouTube video ‘The Story of Us’ where the couple have described their love story, Jared said, “I never felt like it was over between us after Paradise, which is why I said we’re still going to be friends. Like, it just didn’t feel over.”
The two have shared a bit of drama in the following season of the show and then ultimately decided to date other people. However, the two later go back together eventually and started dating in May.
Although the two recently went public with their relationship, the source said that they are very happy and are just perfect for each other.
