Dickinson, who is a known as one of the great American authors, does not hold a life filled with great drama owing to her being an eccentric recluse. It is said that ‘Dickinson’ will be a comedy series, based on Emily Dickinson’s life back in the 1800s but will still have a “coming-of-age story” along with a “modern sensibility and tone.”

The series will take the viewers to Emily’s world where she was exploring the family, society, and gender constraints from a budding author’s perspective, where the writer does not fit in her own time because of having an imaginative point of view. The show will be written by Alena Smith, who is the writer of ‘The Newsroom’ and ‘The Affair.’ The series will be directed by David Gordon Green, who is also the executive producer of the show.

Like any other new Apple show, the company has picked up the streaming service where it plans to air the show, but yet, we do not know when or how one will be able to watch ‘Dickinson.’ Moreover, we do not even know whether a person will have to pay money to see the show or if the episodes will be aired weekly or every day.

Whenever the details do get finalized and are revealed, Dickinson will be aired along with a varied list of other Apple shows like Steven Spielberg’s ‘Amazing Stories,’ Reese Witherspoon’s three series among others.
